Did I miss a memo saying that parents are now allowed to trick or treat? I had maybe 20-25 total trick or treaters this year, and four of them were adults. I know the economy is bad, but are we all that hard up? Each of the parents came with kids that were at least ten years old and had their own bags. Each of them said "Trick or treat..." and held their bags out eagerly.
I was left with way too much candy, we were expecting more people, but I'm still pissed. Since when can 45 year olds trick or treat? I know a 28 year old who wouldn't mind going, if it were socially acceptable.
