Sweet little Harley stayed over last night. He was an angel! I took lots of pictures, of course. I think he might have helped me convince Tony that we can handle three Great Danes in the future. (I was previously forbidden to have more than two dogs. Lexi is like three little dogs that get into a tremendous amount of trouble all rolled into one.)

I'm actually really proud of how Hudson handled having a male in the house. He's been attacked by other dogs a couple of times (unprovoked) and he is a little cautious with newcomers now. He did really well with Harley, after spending an hour or so making it clear that this is his house. Once Harley understood that, the two of them were
inseparable.

To the point that they even cuddled up and slept together.
Awwww...

Porter, on the other hand, didn't do as well as I expected him to. He's usually really good with new dogs, but he was terrified of Harley. He ran and hid whenever he could. I was laying on the couch reading a book, Harley and Hudson were cuddled on the floor, and Porter perched on the
love seat and refused to move.
