So, as everyone knows, I've been dying to have my dogs photographed. I've been following Claire's blog, http://www.rouxby.com/, but I can't afford her just yet. (Steadily saving my pennies....) I mentioned to my friend Tess how very much I'd like to do pics with my puppies. She is DEATHLY allergic to dogs and cats, but very kindly offered to take our pictures anyway. Yesterday was the day. It dawned cold and dreary, so I was a little worried, but it had warmed up by 11. We loaded everyone in the Jeep and headed off to Tess'. She has a very nice backyard and was nice enough to let us use it as the background for our pictures. She took over 100 pictures in all. She got some really great shots of each of the dogs on their own, some together and family pics. She's putting them all on a CD for me and will be dropping it by soon. As soon as I have it, I'll add some of my favorites to the blog.
The dogs didn't do great, which I expected, since they are dogs. Porter had a really hard time. He was extremely nervous and wouldn't look at the camera or lay down. He calmed down by the end, and Tess was able to get some really great pictures of him regardless.
