So I'm on vacation this week, because Arrow is making me. We are required to take four weeks of vacation this year, 2 of which are unpaid. We have to take 1 week per quarter. This is my week (unpaid) for Q2. I've been working on the
friggin' condo, (it will never be done. I've accepted that. Never) planting the flower beds out front, (excruciating. I do not have a green thumb and have never claimed to) and reading. Reading is, of course, my favorite thing in the world. I've been rereading all my favorite series. The Mercedes Thompson books by Patricia Briggs (as well as the Alpha and Omega series of which there is 1 and half), The Kate Daniels books by
Ilona Andrews, The
Sookie Stackhouse books by
Charlaine Harris (
TruBlood is out on DVD next Tuesday. I'm dying to see it, though my forced
vaca is clearly messed up. Why couldn't it be next week!!) the Twilight series, the Cal
Leandros series and a bunch more. I've been reading a lot of YA fiction lately, since I've exhausted (momentarily) the regular urban fantasy genre. I've read several great books lately which I'll post shortly.
