Micro, Tony's Work Muzzle

As I've mentioned before, Big Dogs Huge Paws has several great doggie daycares that foster some of our dogs for us.  City Bark Parker is one of the FANTASTIC ones that is always willing to take in a new foster.  Micro the Great Dane spent some time there.  He came from a situation where he was chained up outside on rocks.  His chain was too short, so he was never able to fully extend his rear legs, leading to muscle weakness.  His coat was bleached and he had no concept of indoor living.  He was never socialized, so playing with the other daycare dogs at City Bark was hard for him.  He got too excited and bossy.  As a result, he was red carded, meaning he was unable to play in group because his reactions were unpredictable.

Micro touched a soft spot in Tony's heart.  Tony would spend 20 minutes (or more) after every shift cuddling and playing with Micro.  He called him his "Work Muzzle."

Micro was recently adopted, and before he left, Michelle at City Bark snapped this picture of them together.
