After all the painting I did in September, our family room, or Old Folks Room as Tony likes to call it, looks awesome. I haven't uploaded pictures yet because I want everyone to see the finished product. We're pretty close to wrapping it up. We need to replace a light fixture, replace the laundry doors and fix the fireplace.
Our fireplace is currently brick that someone painted white at some point. The cracks and divots tend to collect dirt, dust and debris and it makes it look crappy. Tony and I have decided to have the fireplace tiled over, and we are replacing the fire screen as well. Here are the before pictures.
